2026 Schedule (TBD)

Now let's get down to what High School Horseshoe Pitching is all about.
• Horseshoe Teams consist of ALL who would like to participate.
Everyone is welcome from those who may think they are not athletically gifted, on through the Basketball team captain.  Almost anyone can play horseshoes - and those who practice can learn to play it really well.

• Horseshoes is a "Club" Sport. (other club-sports you may be familiar with are Water Polo, Mountain Biking, and Hockey).

• Compared to other high school sports, Horseshoes is very affordable with registration/uniform/equipment expenses only ranging $100-150 total.

• Teams can be mixed players (boys and girls) 7th-12th grades.

• Team Practices begin in Mid-March (weather permitting) and are balanced around team member needs.

• Season matches run 6 weeks starting Early-April through Mid-May and are held on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, typically 5 PM.  Teams may play 0, 1, or 2 matches in a week depending on final scheduling.  Matches usually last 1 to 11/2 hours.

• Matches are held between two competing teams.  At a Match, each team will play their Top-5 ranked players (by skill) matched against the other team's Top-5.
(See more detail on Match Play)

• A State Championship Tournament is held in Mid-May crown the Utah High School State high school champion.

• Awards such as All-State Teams and Academic Scholarship opportunities are available.

Good Music, food, family, and friends are welcome at Matches.
