The St. George Horseshoe Pitching Club serves Horseshoe Pitchers in St. George and surrounding areas.
As a true "Lifetime" sport, horseshoes can appeal to everyone, of all
ages, from every walk of life. In St. George, many retirees in particular, have
found that Horseshoes fills a need for moderate exercise and a fun, social environment
with just enough friendly competition to keep things interesting. We
invite you to join us on the courts to toss some ringers and have a good
time with old and new friends.
St. George Utah is home to the largest (and newest) Horseshoe
Pitching facility in the Western US. Our 30 court complex is the top of the
line and located at J.C.Snow Park (access via 400 E 900 S) (Map) .
The St. George Horseshoe Pitching Club hosts
several, National Horseshoe Pitching Association (NHPA) sanctioned tournaments including the
renowned Huntsman World Senior Games and the Western Regional in October and
November, respectively. We were honored in 2013 and 2017 to be the host club for the World Horseshoe Pitching Championship.
Every year during the late Winter-Spring and again during the Fall Season, we hold the Winter League and Summer League games at the new courts in JC Snow Park. Our Community League games are "count all" so you are sure to score many points and each day of league play is an easy $1.00! We invite everyone to come and give horseshoes a try and have a good time.
